Unhedged MCP: Version 0.3.1 released
Connect your AI assistant to Unhedged. Research markets, review positions, and trade combos with MCP 0.3.1.
The latest Unhedged MCP release is available. Version 0.3.1 builds on the combo trading introduced in 0.3.0, with clearer setup instructions and dedicated trading guides. Get the latest package.
Unhedged MCP connects compatible AI assistants—including Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, and Cursor—to your Unhedged account. You can research markets, review positions, and manage trades from the same conversation, using the permissions you grant through your API key.
The biggest addition in the 0.3 release is a complete combo trading workflow. Your assistant can build a combo from eligible market outcomes, request a quote, review available quotes, and accept one when instructed. It can then check the confirmed fill and resulting position. Accepting a quote and completing a trade are separate steps, and the workflow tracks both.
The package now includes 37 tools and eight workflow prompts covering market research, portfolio reviews, order management, combo trading, and approved market-making workflows. You can start with a simple request:
Find active markets about Bitcoin, explain their resolution rules, and show my existing exposure.
You choose how much access to provide. Start with read permissions for research and account review, then add trading permissions when needed. Withdrawals require a separate permission. An optional session spend cap limits covered trading commitments for the running MCP server; it resets when the server restarts.
Version 0.3.1 also makes the documentation easier to navigate, with a shorter quickstart and dedicated guides explaining trading workflows, quote confirmation, and handling interrupted requests.
To get started, create an API key and run the setup wizard with Node.js 20 or later:
npx --yes @unhedged/mcp@latest init
Choose your client and follow the setup instructions. Visit the Unhedged MCP setup page to connect your assistant.
